About Karyn-grace

Karyn-grace Clarke, IBCLC, RLC is the owner of Happy Tribe Consulting, a private practice specializing in breastfeeding, parenting and relationship issues. Karyn-grace is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Parent Educator, and is the Principal Researcher for a pilot study through Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, BC, titled “Eliminating the Barriers: Increasing Breastfeeding Exclusivity and Continuation through Continuity of Care and the Lactation Management Model”. As such, Karyn-grace has developed an innovative method of preventative lactation health care called the Lactation Management Model, which she uses in her private practice.

In her local area, Karyn-grace sees clients in the comfort of their own home as well as at mother-baby groups and through local health centers. Karyn-grace is also well versed in providing one-on-one, individual distance education and breastfeeding assessments via email and skype. She specializes in helping expectant and new mothers reach their breastfeeding goals by helping them to indentify their own personal barriers to continued breastfeeding, helping families overcome complex breastfeeding challenges, managing unexpected breastfeeding crisis, and pre/post natal breastfeeding education.
